Last Sunday (May 23rd) we as a Parish marked the retirement of Cyril Thomas as Assistant Organist at St. George’s after many years of long and distinguished service.

Cyril’s service to our parish has been inspirational and we thank him so much for his fine work over so many years. I personally will very much miss working with such a distinguished and able colleague.

At the same service, we were delighted to commission Kathy Ma as Assistant Organist.

Kathy has already shown herself to be a highly competent musician and organist in her two “guest” appearances at the console earlier this year. We are delighted to obtain her services as a means of further securing the place of fine music in the worship at St George’s church.
