The passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The people of St Georges Anglican Church East Ivanhoe and St Paul’s East Kew mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
A prayer for this day from The Church of England
Gracious God, we give thanks
for the life of your servant Queen Elizabeth,
for her faith and her dedication to duty.
Bless our nation as we mourn her death
and may her example continue to inspire us;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Where possible we will seek to keep our respective churches open during daylight hours for private reflection and prayer.
Margaret Wilkes (Obit 4/08/22) – Funeral Arrangements

This morning it was my sad duty to announce at morning worship the death of Mrs Margaret Wilkes, wife of Barry, (Church Warden) and mother of Nicholas (Nick) and Emily.
Margaret passed into our Lord’s closer presence shortly before 2pm on Thursday 4 August 2022.
Barry wishes us to know that ‘Margaret was at peace and surrounded by her family’ at the time of her death.
