Today we farewell Fr Stuart Gardiner as he retires from parish ministry after more than 30 years’ service in the Diocese of Melbourne. He has been our priest and friend at St George’s since May 2015. We give thanks today for his ministry in this place, as well as his ministries in other parishes and as Area Dean.
We will miss him in many ways-for his pithy and erudite sermons; for his gentleness;kindness; common sense, and his dry wit. We wish him and Gail many blessings in his retirement and thank him for a job well done.
